Wirausaha Mandiri Award 2009 was held in Jakarta Convention Center on January 22, 2010. Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Boediono attended the awards along with Coordinating Minister of Economic Hatta Rajasa, Minister of State Owned Mustafa Abubakar, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Fadel Muhammad and the Deputy Minister of National Education Fasli Jalal.

"More and more entrepreneurs in a country, stronger state economy  is. If there was Wirausaha Mandiri program when i was young, I will definitely come to be an entrepreneur now. " Boediono opening remarks in the presence of more than 4000 students from 42 state and private universities from all over Jabodetabek region.
